Our client is one of the largest fully Accredited Telstra Premium Dealers in Australia. The range of products and services vary from Telephone systems, Corporate Mobiles, Complex Voice, Data Services and other ranges of business communication products.
They are in the process of growing their Managed Services ICT division, to up sell to their existing clients and to acquire new business. This is one of their fastest growing departments with great opportunities.
About the role
To be successful in this role you will need to have a sound technical knowledge of networks and associated server infrastructure. The role will require management and administration of internal IT systems, in addition to customer LAN/server environments. You will support the Managed Services team with support for all critical failures for customer environments, and have skills to manage service failures through to resolution, this will include management of customer expectations.
Roles and Responsibilities :
You will have excellent communication skills, present professionally. You will need to be able to work autonomously and have a proven track record of successful systems infrastructure deployment and management. It is essential that you have experience with cloud based solutions and solution deployments. You will have relevant experience and certification with the following technologies:
Cisco network management and support
Windows Server
VMware
Office 365
You will also have significant knowledge and be proficient in the following:
Switching and Routing
Cloud services and cloud migrations
Wireless solutions development and implementation
Security devices, deployment and management
Experience and Skills Requirements:
Have practical working experience with Cisco Networking
Have had experience working for > 3 years in the IT Industry in Australia.
Have relevant Cisco certifications.
Experience with AWS, Azure desirable
Knowledge and experience in ITIL
Experience with ConnectWise and LabTech
Experience with Microsoft Office 365
Experience with Citrix
Be an Australian citizen or PR and speak and write in fluent English.
Be a team-player and be willing to share knowledge with the rest of the team.
Be customer focused and able to multitask and deal with customers of varying IT capability.
Have outstanding customer service skills.
