About the role
You will be skilled, passionate Sales strategist, able to inspire a team to be exceptional, and interested in joining a growing company (~200 employees) with an awesome culture and no VC overlords.
You will be accountable for leading and accelerating the success in the APC region. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be accountable for success and expand of the profile in the APAC region.

Sales leadership across leading a holistic direct and channel sales
Strong network and capability in building and expand channel
Strong direct and channel sales experience
Role and Responsibilities:
You will work alongside the team in US to expand the company’s reach across APAC. Your responsibilities including
Answering incoming questions through our various support channels, providing business and product knowledge
Lead a team of 2-6+ (Account Executives and Sales Engineer) in the APAC region to support them in achieving their assigned quotas.
Develop our reseller channel alongside your team with a focus on finding the “right” partners and expanding our relationship with our existing partners.
Consistently deliver against sales targets – ensuring company goals, and objectives are achieved consistently.
Accurately forecast team quarterly results and report back to senior leadership
Be responsible for training and maintaining sales processes, coaching and helping your team negotiate complex deal
Strategize around market trends in the APAC region and collaborate with senior leadership on areas of opportunity
Create quarterly and annual budget and hiring plans
Experience and Skills Requirements:
Exceptional Leader with 3+ Years Leadership experience as Sales Manager/Director/VP of Sales
Sales in the Tech sector, preferably with a strong background in data storage, open-source, and/or adjacent technologies
Strong experience optimizing and building direct sales process and channel sales capability
Leadership role requires experience as a Sales leader is vital (sales and team quota accountability) and not individual sales is vital
Leading APAC sales experience shall be highly regarded
Track record of leading successful Sales Teams that consistently achieve assigned goals
Experience building and managing reseller channels
Excellent speaker, presenter, writer, and communicator
Experience selling directly to end users and through reseller channels
Resides in the APAC region and has experience working remotely
Experience with SalesForce CRM
