Our client is a well-funded FinTech start up in the construction industry. The company has already raised massive series A funding and has a vision to get listed on ASX in another 3-5 years. With board comprising of few prominent experts in the industry, the company is developing an exclusive greenfield platform for the industry.

About the role

You will be part of rapidly expanding senior developer team that is helping put together this cutting-edge platform.

• Extensive experience developing complex cloud solution from putting together proof of concept for a workflow to coding the workflows and associated APIs
• Very strong experience with Microservices, APIs and designing and developing the microservices
• Conduct unit testing and ensure accurate implementation of requirements
• Building highly scalable, resilient and fault tolerant cloud native applications.

Role and Responsibilities

• Be Involved in performing Proof of Concepts (POCs) for upcoming solutions or developer showcasing strong technical experience shall get / will be expected to pick up such opportunities
• Play a vital role in epic planning’s, scrum walkthroughs, grooming sessions, providing estimates for a feature implementation especially as a senior experienced developer or ability to contribute to the sessions as a mid-senior developer
• Development, unit testing, bug fixing and post-delivery support of backend development and microservices and APIs.
• Perform coding and unit testing for any new enhancements and/or split and delegate activities to team.
• Document new features/enhancements introduced into the product.
• Write, capture and document Unit and integration test cases and results and providing maximum coverage to test the various scenarios in the developed application.
• Fix and deliver code for defects/bugs found during unit testing/integration testing.
• Provide support for System testing team for any queries related to the feature to
  be tested.

Experience/Skills

• A technical nerd who loves a challenge and wants to build a great product
• Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant IT field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar position to design and build highly
  scalable, resilient and fault tolerant cloud native applications.
• Exposure to architecting and/or design and strong interest in development to create software modules and microservices
• Strong technical experience using Java, Spring, Hibernate, SpringBoot, Python, Restful web
  services.
• Strong exposure with Database technologies such as Postgresql, MYSQL DB, Netflix OSS such as Eureka, Ribbon, Hystrix etc.
• Development experience with Java BPM tech stack, Camunda or Flowable highly desirable
• Experience working in an agile environment
