Role:
The relates to all technology, including workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software. As the primary representative of the business in Sydney, you will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with the Biotech/Pharma clients. You will develop and nurture strong relationships with the clients, providing support at all levels from entry-level to senior management, and participate in customer review meetings. Your regular face-to-face interactions with the clients will be crucial in ensuring their satisfaction with the services.Â

Key Responsibilities:
Your daily duties, you will need a range of well-rounded technical skills, to provide on-site support and remediation of desktop and Microsoft 365 cloud issues. You will also perform the physical installation and assist with the configuration of equipment, such as servers, PCs, switches, routers, wireless access points, and other related equipment. Audits of equipment in existing environments will also be required. You will work in collaboration with our engineering team in Melbourne.
Maintain and implement cloud infrastructure and migrated customer infrastructure
Excellent knowledge of IT cloud server, Office365, network, desktop, firewalls, etc.Â
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Provide IT support for all levels of staff at each organisation, including CEO, CFO, directors, and operational staff.
Participate in customer review meetings.
Provide on-site support and remediation of Level 1 and some level 2 desktop IT issues, and Microsoft 365 cloud issues.
Install and assist with configuration of equipment, such as servers, PCs, switches, routers, wireless access points, and other related equipment.
Perform site audits.
Take ownership of issues and escalate to the Melbourne team for remote support when necessary.
Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues to their satisfaction.
Assist the Melbourne team remotely with helpdesk and project work on non-site days.

Skills & Experience:
Experience in Windows & Exchange Server, Active Directory, Office 365
Ability to manage a server using system management interface.Â
Experience in current Microsoft desktop operating systems.Â
Good experience with virtualisation and hyper-converged infrastructure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Superior written, verbal and documentation skills (must be fluent in English) and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively over the phone and in person
