About the
Role
As the Technical Alignment Manager, you will become the
strategic technology advisor for a portfolio of managed services customers. You
will proactively ensure every client's technology environment aligns with
industry best practices, security standards and future business objectives. You will conduct technology alignment reviews, security
assessments, infrastructure health checks and strategic planning sessions while
working collaboratively with the Service Desk, Professional Services and
Account Management teams.
Role and
Responsibilities
·Conduct Technology Alignment Reviews across
customer environments.
·Perform infrastructure, Microsoft 365 and
cybersecurity assessments.
·Develop and maintain Technology Roadmaps.
·Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and
Technical Business Reviews (TBRs).
·Identify technology risks, security gaps and
compliance concerns.
·Recommend infrastructure upgrades, cloud
adoption and security improvements.
·Ensure environments comply with technical
standards and best practices.
·Review Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Intune
configurations.
·Collaborate with Service Delivery and Projects
teams.
·Review backup, disaster recovery and business
continuity readiness.
·Maintain accurate technical documentation.
·Analyse recurring incidents and drive continual
improvement.
·Provide technical guidance to Service Desk
engineers.
·Build trusted advisor relationships with
customer stakeholders.
·Assist with technical proposals and strategic
recommendations.
Experience
and Skills Requirements
·Minimum 5+ years' experience within an
Australian Managed Services Provider (MSP).
·Previous experience as a Technical Alignment
Manager, vCIO, Technical Account Manager or Senior Systems Engineer.
·Excellent customer relationship and stakeholder
management skills.
·Strong Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online,
Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID, Intune and Defender knowledge.
·Experience with Windows Server, Active
Directory, networking, VPNs and firewalls.
·Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery and
cybersecurity best practices.
·Excellent documentation and communication
skills.
·Experience with ConnectWise, NinjaOne, IT Glue
or Hudu is desirable.
·Microsoft certifications are highly regarded.
