We are hiring for a dynamic Sydney-based IT Managed Services Provider
(MSP) startup focused on delivering cutting-edge cloud solutions,
cybersecurity, and end-to-end IT infrastructure services to corporate and
government clients. Our mission is to redefine IT support through innovation,
agility, and client-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities
New
Business Acquisition: Identify and close opportunities in corporate
and government sectors, leveraging cold outreach, referrals, and
networking.
Strategic
Partnerships: Build relationships with key vendors (e.g., Microsoft,
AWS) and negotiate contracts to expand service offerings.
Client
Management: Grow existing accounts by identifying upsell/cross-sell
opportunities and ensuring alignment with client needs.
Market
Penetration: Collaborate with marketing to design targeted campaigns
and drive demand generation.
Solution
Design: Work with technical teams to tailor proposals, including cost
estimation and compliance with security standards.
Addition to Key Responsibilities: Sales Technology Implementation:
Tool
Evaluation & Deployment: Assess, select, and implement
MSP-specific sales tools to streamline workflows and eliminate manual
processes.
KPIs:
Achieve
$500K+ in annual contract value within the first year.
Maintain
a pipeline 3x the quarterly sales target.
Who You Are
Experience:
3+ years in IT managed services sales, with a track record of exceeding
targets.
Technical
Knowledge: Proficiency in cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and MSP
service models.
Relationship
Builder: Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage stakeholders
at all levels.
Adaptability:
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities.
Compensation & Benefits
Base
Salary: $110K–$130K AUD (fixed, based on experience).
Commission:
Competitive commission structure
Equity
Options: Possible eligibility after probation period.
Flexibility:
A hybrid work environment (Working from the office and at home).
Location:
Can be 100% remote role thus open to the best candidate across Sydney,
Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide
Probationary Period
6-month
review: Performance metrics (e.g., pipeline health, closed deals) will
determine transition to permanent role.
Support:
Weekly check-ins and access to sales enablement tools during probation.
