Our client a small but established Managed Service Provider. The MSP has many clients that they have been servicing over more than 2 decades. The organization is going through a cultural change from reactive to proactive and is looking for Procurement Manager who would not only take care of inventory and stocks but also interact with client and make them aware of the products and services and act as an AM. The client is looking for someone who can along with procurement can do a bit of Account management and is interested to get transitioned into Account management space
Key Must Haves:
You will pivotal in the implementations and ensuring 100% client satisfaction. The primary objective will be to provide and prepare transactional quotes as directed, and execute order fulfillment by procuring goods and services.

Key Responsibility:
The Procurement Manager is not limited to, but has the following key accountabilities:
Procurement (70%)
Place approved purchase orders, under close management direction, through the most appropriate supplier based on stock availability, price, margin quantity and supplier relationship.
Update internal stakeholders (e.g. project teams, engineers, account managers) with order lead-time, stock availability and delivery.
Maintain favourite’s lists and templates for quotes, transactional items and BOM’s. Work closely with peers to maintain accuracy.
Maintain stock levels for high frequency and critical items. Review inventory levels regularly.
Manage order delivery, updating internal stakeholders.
Ensure that goods and services ordered are delivered in accordance with specifications to ensure expectations are exceeded;
Escalate any problems with regard to quality, delivery, invoicing etc.
Account Management (30%)
Respond to transactional quotes in one business day (unless otherwise agreed) for hardware, software, services, renewals, ValueCare add-ons and other items as directed.
Develop sound relationships with sales and technical teams and work with them in relation to purchasing requests and keep them informed on technical details, price and availability;
Develop, maintain, and apply a good level of product knowledge.
Complete delegated sales training to meet partner accreditations.
Develop and demonstrate effective use of tools and systems
With guidance, investigate and develop supply sources as well as developing and maintaining close working relationships with key vendors.
Requirements:
Preferred 1 year B2B experience in IT (hardware, software and services) highly desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Innovative mindset and a passion for technology
Good organisational and self-management skills
Experience with quoting and pricing tools desirable
