Job Description

  • L2/L3 support role predominately remote support
  • Some face-2-face and project work responsibilities as well
  • Great exposure across the technology stack

Our Client:                        

Our client proudly owned Australian, award-winning managed services provider that is growing fast and looking for talent who are professional and eager to learn and grow. 

About The role:

  • You must have exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate complex technical issues with end users in simple English 
  • Resolving the technical issues encountered by clients/end users
  • Conducting support activities such as patching, server monitoring, network monitoring, back up set up, firewall set up and troubleshooting, etc
  • You may be required to visit client sites 1 day a week or support project when required

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Windows server and workstation administration and upgrades
  • Office 365 administration and troubleshooting
  • Active Directory and Exchange Server administration
  • Backup technologies (on premise and cloud)
  • Virtualisation Technologies (VMware and/or Hyper V)
  • Infrastructure monitoring and alert management  
  • Basic Networking – routing / switching / wireless
  • Australian Citizenship mandatory
  • Car/Licence required for onsite field work
  • Professional and clear English speaking skills essential
  • Sharing knowledge, documentation and coaching team members required
  • Flexibility to work in office and at client premises essential
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
  • MSP experience 
  • An Australian IT qualification a must

 

Desirable Skills:

  • Cloud services exposure/experience desirable (Azure, AWS, Google)
  • macOS & Mobile Device Management support
  • Anti-Virus management and Microsoft update deployment experience
  • Connectwise, IT Glue & Kaseya toolsets
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications would be superb
