About the role

You will be reporting to the IT Manager and working across end user support, infrastructure maintenance and projects. You will get exposure across server infrastructure, security and network. We are looking for someone will well rounded exposure.

Job tasks and responsibilities

You shall be operating as part of a small team thus we are looking for individuals with good skills, a self starter and a strong sense of ownership

• Oversee and maintain the Microsoft server and supporting environments, including tasks related to installation, upgrades and improvement.  
• Provide Microsoft account administration including setup, configuration, assignment of users and their corresponding services  
• Perform Microsoft desktop and client administrative tasks including the setup, configuration 4and maintenance of personal equipment across Microsoft environment  
• Administer and maintain the network environment to an optimum and secure level, make configuration changes as needed  
• Maintain storage environments, on premise or cloud, as well as the backup infrastructure used to protect against events and disasters
• Provide personal IT support to address individuals’ issues and work with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve problems.  
• Administrate key platforms within the company ecosystem and call on available resources to cover gaps.  
• Ensure company infrastructure, both physical and digital is protected and remains accessible for users.  
• Implement company security configuration across all areas and ensure continued monitoring and learning to reduce threat and exposure  
• Be directly involved across most aspects of project delivery including research, design, development, testing and support  
• Work with internal and external resources to ensure administrative tasks are completed to the required quality level
• Seek continued improvement of all responsibilities by reviewing, identifying and prioritising areas of improvement.  
• Continue to upskill through formal training programs in line with the established development plan

 Experience & Qualification:

• Strong experience with end-user support preferably face-2-face support
• Decent experience with building and maintaining server and network infrastructure
• Experience building and supporting Microsoft environment
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Office365, SharePoint, Azure, etc
• Any experience maintaining Databases shall be highly regarded
• At-least 2+ years' experience supporting, maintain and deploying infrastructure
• Ability to work as part of a small team, work independently and to take direction.
• Good all rounded experience across Systems, Cloud, Storage, Virtualisation, Backup, Network
• Excellent client service skills, communication skills and documentation skills
• Exposure to firewalls such as Aruba and backup technologies such as Veeam shall be highly regarded
• Tertiary or TAFE qualification – we will not be considering candidates with Master’s degree for this role
• Skills of website and administrative management systems will be good
• Industry certification will be good but we are looking for someone who loves technology and wants to learn
• Any previous experience in NFP environment shall be highly regarded
