About the Role

The Project Engineer will play a critical role in managing and delivering IT projects, including migrations, upgrades, and system implementations. The role includes providing onsite support, assisting in solution design, and acting as an escalation point for the service desk team.

Must-Haves:

• Strong experience with Windows, server infrastructure, M365 stack and Azure environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license and Australian work rights.

Role and Responsibilities

• Execute technical projects: migrations, relocations, upgrades, and implementations.
• Collaborate with project teams and third-party stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide onsite technical support and systems administration.
• Develop technical documentation and conduct handovers for the service desk team.
• Offer on-call support when required.

Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in:
• Windows desktop/server systems and Azure cloud platforms.
• Microsoft 365 solutions, Active Directory, and hybrid cloud setups.
• Hyper-V, VMware, and network security solutions.
• Advanced LAN/WAN networks and cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
• Desired experience with:
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Small business VOIP systems.
• Healthcare IT solutions.
• Familiarity with ConnectWise, Kaseya, and vendor technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Sophos, etc.).

Qualifications

• Relevant industry or tertiary qualifications (preferred).
• Certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365, and hardware vendor systems (desirable).
• Service or project management certifications are advantageous.
