About the role
As a Sales Admin & Procurement
specialist, you will be the engine room of the sales and purchasing
departments. Your primary objective is to bridge the gap between client needs
and technical delivery. You will manage the end-to-end sales support
process—from initial scoping and quoting to procurement and license
management—ensuring a seamless experience for both the internal technical team
and the end customer.
Must haves:
·Proven experience working within a
Managed Service Provider (MSP) or an IT&T vendor environment.
·Solid understanding of Microsoft
products and licensing structures.
·High level of proficiency in
CRM/PSA tools (experience with ConnectWise is highly regarded).
Role and Responsibilities
Sales Support: Prepare accurate proposals
and quotations, ensuring a balance between customer value and business
profitability.
Account Management: Intimately understand
customer accounts to provide tailored IT advice and formulate strategies
for their environment.
Renewals Management: Proactively oversee
license renewals, subscriptions, and warranties to ensure no service
interruptions for clients.
Client Scoping: Clearly identify and scope
customer requirements, providing the technical team with the information
needed for hassle-free installations.
Procurement & Vendor Liaison: Source and
negotiate with suppliers for the best value, manage inventory levels, and
process RMAs efficiently.
Customer Success: Provide regular updates to
customers on order status and project milestones, maintaining a high CSAT
(Customer Satisfaction) score.
Data Integrity: Maintain accurate records in
the CRM and ensure all configurations and ticketing information are up to
date.
Create and
maintain clear, detailed documentation for client systems and procedures.
Experience/Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
with a focus on "win-win" outcomes.
Experience in
an MSP environment is highly desirable.
Excellent
analytical, customer need assessment, solution customisation and solution presentation
skills
Proven experience in meeting and exceeding sales
targets
Excellent verbal and written communication
skills with a confident telephone manner.
Ability to work independently in a
fast-paced, technical support environment.
Proactive attitude with a natural talent for
building and nurturing client relationships.
Disciplined organizational skills with the
ability to manage multiple priorities under SLA pressures.
Experience
with Medical, Dental, Clinics, Healthcare clients is highly desirable.
Qualification
Higher School
Certificate (HSC) is essential.
Certificate IV
in Information Technology or a Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration/related field is highly desirable.)
