Role:

The Senior Security Engineer will report directly to the CTO and is expected to provide best of breed technology solutions to customers as a technical evangelist.

This role involves a lot of reporting, so the right candidate will possess exceptional verbal and written English skills.

Responsibilities:

• Network and Application Penetration Testing.
• Develop security maturity and security responsibility across all lines of our customer's business, driving awareness of and compliance with Information Security policies and standards.
• Ensure world class information security standards and practices are in place to protect our customer's business and the security of our customers.
• Build security capability and commercialise our Quantex suite of products to grow the business in line with our financial objectives.
• Proactively identify potential risks/threats and then recommend and implement strategies to address these.
• Produce documentation where an opportunity exists and documentation is lacking.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience and certification in Penetration Testing/ Ethical Hacking.
• You should reside in and hold full working rights in Australia.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in a cyber security role. 
• Other Cyber Security certifications such as OSCP, CCNA Cyber OPS, or CompTIA Security+ will be highly regarded.
• You should be effectively and efficiently prioritise workload and consistently meet deadlines.
• You should possess the ability and interest to suggest and develop new product ideas and methods.
• You are widely trusted and seen by others as direct, truthful and tactful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
