Our client an established, successful Managed Service Provider to small and medium enterprises throughout Australia. They offer our clients a range of services including 24 hour service desk, network monitoring, telephony and WAN solutions, private and public based cloud based solutions, software development, software support and other project based works. 

About the role

You will be developing a large-scale, multi-tenanted platform. You will be responsible for scoping, developing, and shipping the platform.

You will be responsible for the technical aspects of the project including solution architecture, development, documentation, and support, whilst assisting the Project Manager with BA and delivery of the project. In addition, you might be pulled in to provide ad hoc assistance on any existing projects.

Must haves for the role:

1. Passion for robust product development
2. Experience designing and developing multi-tenanted applications
3. Keen interest in influencing the tech stack  

Role and Responsibilities:

You will work alongside our project manager and Business Analyst as well as liaising with various departments such as Infrastructure / DevOps within the business where necessary.

• Define and document system architecture; anticipate growth; ensure scalability; advise on automation
• Actively be involved in pre-sales, advising, and assisting in high level quoting (alongside the sales team)
• Project scoping and documentation
• Defining and implementing test plans (automated and manual)
• Define development languages, platforms, libraries, and tools that can assist in the delivery of planned projects
• Resolution of technical issues arising during the project lifecycle and the support phase
• Code and develop a healthy, secure, scalable and robust SaaS application

Experience and Skills Requirements:

• Proven SaaS, multi-tenanted platform development experience
• Experience in Solution Architecture and System Development (full lifecycle) for multi-tenanted platform
• Experience in software related roles
• Experience deciding development tech stack and software development process supporting tools for the application (Client preference at this moment is Ruby on Rails, Python and React Native. The client is even open to JAVA. You will have opportunity to influence)
• Hosting (AWS) Knowledge
• Full Stack developer experience
