About the Role
The Client Engagement Executive is accountable for all aspects of the customer life- cycle and acts as the overall owner of customer relationship and engagement. Our Client has a key focus on customers within the Professional Services industry and therefore the CEE is expected to be able to remain up-to-date with relevant technology and digital trends within the target market. The CEE will be a trusted advisor to customers, with the ability to gain insight and access to customers’ digital strategies, technology initiatives and related business plans. The CEE shall be able converse with customers both at the business level and at the solution and services level relating to offerings and expertise.
The CEE will be driven to achieve the following outcomes:
Differentiate through identifying specific customer business drivers and mapping these to unique or value generating services
Gain detailed and ongoing insight into the customer resulting in ongoing opportunities for in alignment with GTM
Accelerate the customer buying process through determining specific value drivers and mapping these to a sales strategy which wider team can collaborate on executing
Responsibilties:
Actively seek out opportunities for within existing customers including qualifying the opportunity in order to develop a sales strategy, identify internal support requirements including required pre-sales support and communicate potential deal value, win chances and timing to senior management to assist with opportunity reviews
Ownership of all customer engagements such as meetings, workshops and proposal submissions.
Establish additional partnering requirements to facilitate deeper penetration into accounts and present these to Senior Management for review and progression as required
At all times, adhere to the sales and proposal/deal review and approval process
Facilitate an appropriate transition from sales to delivery on successful proposals
Ensure alignment and ongoing engagement with strategic partners within customer accounts to establish mutually beneficial outcomes and ensure remains partner of choice in competitive situations
Clear mapping of customer business drivers and desired outcomes to offerings and capability
Ownership of all customer facing sales documentation including proposals, presentations and agreements including where required coordination of input from other employees and/or partners (e.g. Microsoft)
Meet sales and revenue targets (as per the Commission Plan)
Develop Account Plans and present these to Senior Management on a Quarterly basis
Demonstrate to Senior Management how account plans and related sales strategies will generate required pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets

Skills and Experience
Demonstrated experience (preferably minimum of 3 years) in a sales and/or account management role with focus on organic growth/farming
A demonstrated understanding and proven application of the Challenger Sales Model and the ability to apply a challenger mindset to customer interactions based on relevant customer industry and capability knowledge
Ability to develop strong relationships at multiple levels throughout the customer organisation from operations to C-level
An in-depth understanding of all aspects of the customer buying cycle and proven experience mapping this to a sales strategy
An in-depth understanding of technology trends, including current cloud and hyperscale trends
Experience in selling IT infrastructure services – Professional Services and Managed Services
Experience in selling XaaS based solutions, preferably Microsoft, AWS or Google offerings
An in-depth understanding of the Professional Services vertical including technology and digital trend relevant to Professional Services firms
Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end sales processes including driving sales strategy, mapping customer requirements to service offerings, owning the proposal creation process, owning the customer presentation and commercial negotiation process
Demonstrated experience in developing vertical or territory specialization, including the ability to self-research
Experience with CRM - Hubspot (desirable)
Tertiary qualifications in either an IT or business-related discipline
