About the role

As Projects Engineer you will be responsible for the effective delivery of client projects from a technical, time and budget perspective, always ensuring client satisfaction.

Role and Responsibilities:

The role will require you to provide both remote and on-site client support

• Responsible for the smooth onboarding of new clients via successful delivery of their onboarding project from a technical and customer journey perspective
• Working with relevant parties to ensure successful outcome of disputes, complaints or other feedback related to the Projects Team
• Responsible for the successful technical delivery of projects where the project engineer has been assigned the project lead. Projects included but not limited to:
  • Client technology upgrades or implementations
  • New client onboarding projects
  • Relocation projects
  • Internal systems projects
• Responsible for the delivery of project tasks efficiently and within the allowed timeframes/budgets
• Assisting with technical escalations as required from the Service Delivery team
• Where required, assist the Solutions team and other technical activities for clients
• Where required, attend meetings for new sales opportunities
• Strong experience across a wide variety of technologies
  • MS Windows Servers, Azure, AWS
  • Exchange Server / Exchange Online / Office 365
  • Hyper-V & VMWare
  • Networking Skills (Routing / NAT / VLAN)
  • Troubleshooting skills across multiple technologies

Experience and Skills Requirements:

• 5 years’ technical experience working in managed services or equivalent environment
• Strong technical background and demonstrated experience in a senior technical position
• Experience with systems such as Autotask or ConnectWise, N-Able, ITGlue, Sharepoint
• Exceptional communication skills and outstanding customer service skills.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange server, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Office365 / Microsoft 365, Azure
• Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills
• Technical certifications and/or industry experience relevant to our market (Microsoft, VMware, Cisco for example)Certifications with ITIL (v3 or higher), Microsoft, Cisco, Comp TIA will be highly
• Full Australian work rights
