Job Description

  • Experience leading  multi-million $ Service Delivery Accounts
  • Permanent Role – Immediate Interview
  • Excellent people kills, communication skills and client-onsite-offshore team management skills
  • Banking service delivery experience preferably Insurance clients

Our Client is a NYSE listed global leader in consulting, and technology outsourcing solutions with presence in across the globe and a well-known multi-billion $ company.

As a Delivery Manager, you are responsible for reviewing, monitoring, controling and supporting growth of a portfolio of discrete projects for a major client of the consulting business with the objective of delivering them as per agreed timelines, cost and quality parameters.

The client account has various verticals in service delivery such as Infrasture projects, Software development projects, support projects, IT consulting initiatives etc. You will be responsible for Service Delivery for the client account.

Skill / Experience Requirements:

  • MUST have Service Delivery experience in Banking (ideally Insurance)
  • Reliable individuals who can manage the major account for consulting business
  • Smart individual with Very good communication and ability to manage client relationship effectively and ability to manage team for effective delivery
  • Likeable person who can grow the account and effectively control team to effective delivery
  • Executed projects with different Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC), engagement levels
  • Successfully managed delivery parameters 
  • Good knowledge of Insurance / BFSI domain, Service delivery Management and Processes, Estimation Techniques, Quality control, MSA, PLA, etc
  • Experience in managing a team size of 80-150 team members
  • Delivered successful projects without cost or effort overruns
  • Should have been in a client facing role and extensive client engagement experience
  • Total experience of 10+ years in Banking especially insurance service delivery, with 2+ years as a Project Manager or equivalent.

What will you do?

Delivery Management 

 

  • Plan project reviews at appropriate frequency; closely monitor projects with Amber, Red and enables a quick turn around
  • Manage escalations on delivery issues with customer & other stakeholders
  • Monitor overall health through defined norms of CHM parameters (rookie ratio, bulge, PPC etc) to Ensure parameters stay within defined norm
  • Customer Knowledge Management to Ensure continuity in process knowledge 
  • Assess risks well in advance, and mitigate, to Ensure on time delivery , Csat and Esat

 

In this role, you will be required to have the knowledge and expertise of:

 

Finance & Operations

  • Bill & Invoices in a timely manner
  • Ensure payout of bonus/penalty from/to the customers 
  • Systemic approvals for travels, project structure creations
  • Manage resource fulfilment & staffing 
  • Employee Rotations

 

People Management

  • Ensure improvement in E-Sat and reduction in attrition
  • Engaging with employees across all levels in the team
  • Build a harmonious and energized work culture
  • Settle employee issues,  interpersonal conflicts in a fair manner
  • Plan team development and capability building interventions to Ensure team is able to deliver value to the client
  • Drive employee lifecycle processes such as Inductions, MSI, Progressions, Separations and other HR interventions as required

 

Solutioning & Growth

  • Scope new opportunities within the account proactively
  • Align with the client partner - to build winning solutions and delivery proposals (through Agile etc) - proactive & reactive

 

Customer Management

  • Understand how the delivered projects can help the customer produce results
  • Build strong relationships with all key stakeholders in the customer's IT organisation
