Our Client is a SaaS software start-up with an ERP product for Transport Management and Warehouse Management. With clients all over Australia and New Zealand, the team is gearing for an international expansion.

As a Lead PHP Developer, you will be expected to take over the responsibilities from CTO of the organisation. With SaaS Web and mobile application taken care of, CTO is having renewed focus on developing new features for the international market. Lead PHP Developer is expected to lead a team of 3-5 developer as the product owner for PHP side of things.

Skill / Experience Requirements:

• Ability to take extreme ownership of the product & take responsibility as his/her own product
• MUST have 8+ years experience in PHP Development 
• Ability to maintain the latest in PHP world, security and ability to think strategically at “product value proposition” level
• Lead & manage team and ability to delegate work
• Smart individual with Very good communication and ability to manage client relationship effectively and ability to manage team for effective delivery

What will you do?

• Executed projects throughout Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) in Agile environment (scrum, sprint environment)
• Assign and manage the work allocation within the team and be responsible for timely delivery
• Work with mobile lead, CTO, and team of developers to produce great new features, re-factor old code, enhance APIs and implement further automated testing.
• Ensure quality & comprehensive testing of the product & releases
• Work with web app dev team to further the development of our public API and its use within our mobile apps
• Excellent time and sprint management capability to ensure timely delivery
• Work with business & client to resolve any client issues & take 100% ownership of the product irrespective of time & day to ensure 100% client satisfaction
